A Restaurant at the Historic Heart of the Manor
OTTO’s Restaurant is located in the von Stackelberg Hotel Tallinn’s historic manor, whose story reaches back more than two centuries. The restaurant’s interior blends dignified history with modern elegance – limestone walls, wooden ceilings and carefully preserved architectural details create a warm, timeless atmosphere.
The restaurant seats up to 95 guests in total and is divided into two rooms: a cozy upper hall for up to 25 guests and a more spacious lower hall accommodating up to 70 guests. This creates flexible options for both smaller gatherings and larger events. During the summer months, guests can enjoy their meals in the greenery of one of Tallinn’s most distinctive courtyards – a peaceful, private setting in the heart of the city center.

Food & Wine
The restaurant menu is rooted in European cuisine, valuing seasonal ingredients, thoughtful flavor combinations and a modern interpretation of classic recipes.
Our chef’s dishes combine quality ingredients with a modern approach, offering balanced flavors for both lighter lunches and heartier dinners.
The dining experience is complemented by a carefully curated wine list featuring both well-known classics and exciting discoveries from Europe’s wine regions.
Our Story
OTTO’s Restaurant is named after Otto, the eldest son of Baron Theophil von Stackelberg, who developed a deep interest in food and cooking from a young age.
According to family tradition, it began in the manor kitchen, where a skilled cook prepared the children’s favorite, the cinnamon-spiced apple pudding. A moment in the kitchen, the aroma of spices and the cooking process left a lasting impression on young Otto and sparked a lifelong interest in the culinary arts.
Although Otto himself never became a chef, good food, hospitality and hosting always remained central values for him. OTTO’s Restaurant carries this same philosophy – it’s a place where timeless elegance, carefully crafted flavors and a warm atmosphere blend naturally together.
Cinnamon sticks found during the renovation of the hotel became a symbolic reminder of this story and inspired the restaurant’s name.
